A/Prof. Denxybel Montinola, MMP, MBA (Cand.)

Born in Manila, Philippines, Denxy spent his formative years in the islands of Cebu. A dedicated young scientist, he is driven by a profound commitment to advancing scientific literacy, aiming to ignite a passion for science among the upcoming generation of Filipinos.

 

Denxy has earned recognition as the Filipino scientist behind the innovative creation of dissolvable bioplastic crafted from mango peelings and seaweed. Currently, he holds the position of Diagnostic Imaging Medical Physicist at the Chong Hua Hospital and Cancer Center, he also fullfils the role of Radiation Protection Officer for both facilities. Additionally, Denxy imparts his expertise in radiation physics at Cebu Doctors University, serving as an assistant adjunct professor in the College of Allied and Medical Sciences.

 

Beyond his contributions to healthcare, Denxy serves as a Research Consultant, collaborating on diverse projects with start-ups, corporate ventures, and NGOs focused on sustainable, green solutions.
